Ideology of Pheenix

Pheenix is a body piercing focused studio located in Petone, Lower Hutt, New Zealand. The inspiration for our name comes from the Legend of the Phoenix, a mythical bird from Greek mythology. It’s born again without a blemish to live young and beautiful. With every magical rebirth, a phoenix will get stronger. Every piercing service brings true and lasting change, which is seen as a rebirth ceremony. The ceremony allows you to wear the appropriate jewellery like beautiful wings supporting you on your new journey.

The Pheenix Team

We are a small team of two who focus on practical solutions and healing-oriented piercings because we believe a fully healed piercing is a good piercing. Our piercer used to work in one of the busiest piercing shops in NZ, where she performed thousands of piercings a year. While she is creative, our sales assistant is analytical. You will be amazed by the collision of our different ways of thinking, which doesn't lean too heavily in one direction, ensuring you are on the right track in your piercing journey. We are an experienced team but remain open-minded, so please feel free to email us your suggestions or criticisms. We consistently improve our services and ourselves, just like a phoenix that resurrects to become stronger.

We focus on providing every customer with a warm and pleasant experience. You'll appreciate our bubbly personality and attention to detail. We take the time to help you choose piercing positions and jewelry, considering your preferences. Our piercing spot designs are based on your anatomy and habits, and we provide aftercare instructions both verbally and in written format. Our keen observation and communication are key to understanding your preferences and addressing any issues that may arise during your piercing journey. We are committed to maintaining a clean, safe, relaxing, and welcoming environment for everyone. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities, which is why our piercing services adhere to strict operating procedures. These include using one needle per piercing and providing appropriate collection devices for all tools and needles to ensure absolute safety.

Our sterilization process is medical-grade. Tools and piercing jewelry are first disinfected, undergo ultrasonic cleaning, individually sealed, and then subjected to high-temperature and high-pressure sterilization in an Autoclave. All tool packaging is opened just moments before the piercing to ensure absolute sterility.

Furthermore, we spare no effort in sterilizing our sterilization equipment. We regularly perform spore tests on the autoclave to ensure absolute biological safety.

KID-Friendly Studio

Your little ones are very welcome, as we are a kid-friendly studio.

Our shop is painted in white and blue to ensure a bright and positive vibe.

The youngest client to have a needle piercing with us was 4 years old, and the youngest infant to have a piercing with a gun was 3 months old. We have plenty of experience in making piercing a pleasant experience for them.

We offer free lollipops, water, and seating for your convenience.

The Opening Hours

We are open from 10:30 to 17:30 Tuesday through Friday, and from 11:00 to 16:30 on Saturday and Sunday. We are closed on Mondays.
